Tropical rain forest: warm and humid with no dry season. Temperatures average greater than 18° C (64.4° F) year-round. Annual rainfall is frequent and steady year-round, not less than 100 cm (39") and usually more than 200 cm (79"). Vegetation is dominated by multiple-canopy broadleaf deciduous rain forests (jungle), though some areas may contain semideciduous forests, or grasses and herbaceous plants with patches of broadleaf deciduous or evergreen trees.
