This climate is classified Am.

Tropical rain forest: warm and humid with monsoons and short dry season. Temperatures average greater than 18° C (64.4° F) year-round. Annual rainfall rarely totals less than 150 cm (59") and usually totals more than 200 cm (79"); this is sufficient to support rain forest -- despite a short dry season -- because of the heavy rains of the monsoon season. Vegetation is dominated by multiple-canopy broadleaf deciduous rain forests (jungle), though some areas may contain semideciduous forests, or grasses and herbaceous plants with patches of broadleaf deciduous or evergreen trees.
