Tropical forest: warm and humid with summer dry season. Temperatures average greater than 18° C (64.4° F) year-round. Annual rainfall varies by season -- less in summer, more in winter -- and generally totals 100 cm (39") to 200 cm (59"). Vegetation is dominated by multiple-canopy broadleaf deciduous rain forests (jungle), though some areas may contain semideciduous forests, or grasses and herbaceous plants with patches of broadleaf deciduous or evergreen trees.
