Humid subtropical: mild with hot summer and no dry season. The coldest month averages between freezing and 18° C (64.4° F) and the hottest month is warmer than 22° C (71.6° F). Annual rainfall is frequent and steady, and totals 50 cm (19") to 200 cm (79"). Vegetation can vary widely; there is no forest or grassland that can be described as typical for this climate.
