Subarctic: cool, short, dry summer and severe winter. The coldest month averages between freezing and 38° C (36.4° F), less than one-third of the year is warmer than 10° C (50° F), and the warmest month averages no greater than 22° C (71.6° F). Annual rainfall varies by season -- dryer in summer, wetter in winter -- and totals 25 cm (10") to 100 cm (39"). Permafrost (permanently frozen soil) may exist some distance below the surface in some subarctic regions. Vegetation is overwhelmingly needleleaf forest, deciduous in some regions and evergreen in others; some isolated regions instead may be covered with heather or other herbaceous plants.
Real-world example: this climate was not found in the source material used to create the Climate Wizard. Information on it was provided through correspondence; corroboration and verification are pending. That source cited a small part of the state of Idaho as a real-world example.
